Christiansburg Tournament Update!

Just read on another forum that Virginia High's Josh Booher(145 lbs...currently ranked #3 in the state) defeated #1 ranked Danny Artusio from James Wood H.S. I will give you a update on how the area teams did when I find out!

Here is how the tourney ended up: CBurg won the tournament and their "B" team placed 2nd! Va. High placed 9th, Blacksburg placed 10th, Pulaski Co. 14th, Abingdon 15th, Nicholas Co-WV 16th, CBurg 'C' team 18th, Fieldale Collinsville 19th....

Here were some individual placers: CBurg had many! Too many to list!

Virginia High: 103 lbs.-Yi Chen 4th place, 112 lbs.-Gang Chen 6th Place, 145 lbs.-Josh Booher 1st Place!, 275 lbs.-Tyrone Jackson 6th place

Abingdon: 160 lbs.-Nick Lutzo 6th Place, 189 Lbs.-Ronnie Williams 6th Place, 275 lbs.-David Pennington 1st Place!

Fieldale Collinsville-112 lbs. Jonathan Pace 4th Place

Looks like it was a good tournament. CBurg dominated-with their Varsity winning the team title and their 'B' team getting runner up. Here are the tourney results in complete:
