Note: Looking for revenge, another match between South and Stiltner. The first match was wide open with stiltner being very dominative on his feet, but round two South led going into the third but lost affter Stiltner hit a tilt score 5-7. The match for third and fourth could be quite intresting between Lowe and Hutchens, Hutchens is a good wrestler coming off an injury from last season.

Note: This weight class has some good kids in it, but Long has really brought it together, though Deadmore is the second best he will meet long in the semis, the two met earlier with west winning by pin after leading 10-0. Dixon and Lanier will make a good semi final match, with Dixon having one win over lanier earlier in the season.

Notes: Life is not the same without me getting to put Albert Childress' name on the number 1 spot, but the weight class has some improved kids, Jackson looking for quite the improvement, after defeating Pennington twice this year, luckily for you folks coming just for the finals you will be in for a treat when Jackson and Pennington go for round three.

Matt Lee will win it all this year. That's the only comment I have to say about it...the rest I pretty much agree with, Grundy is in a rebuild state for the next year or so, but you can never really count them out can you?

 

Grundy wins state again in 2005 - 2006....not enough in the tank this year though...the kids are to young.
