rlandsblue32 10 Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 Did it help Richlands to beat Grundy because that puts them playing Carrol County at Grundy so we'll see. Grundy either plays Grahm or Tazewell. It tells Grundy that they can lose so. !GO GRUNDY!
bluekick 11 Report Share Posted February 13, 2007 No, I don't think it changed anything as far as the tournament goes. It would have been #2 vs. #3, which would have been Carroll and Richlands respectively. Now it's just #2 vs. #2; also Carroll and Richlands. rms35 10 Report Share Posted February 13, 2007 Nope, Grundy will always be SWD Champs no matter what happens.. Richlands & Carrol are going for 2nd
stubbycurrence 10 Report Share Posted February 13, 2007 This is the first year that districts are sending three teams to regional play. A Grundy loss, puts the semi final winners into the region tournament. A Grundy win, forces a third place game to be played on Friday. [/ QUOTE ] thats a good thing cuz Grundy, richlands, and carroll are all very solid teams and it gives us all a chance(a very good chance) to all be in the playoffs
