bigmaroonmachine 10 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 well our schedule isnt too bad with the exception of a few teams like martinsburg... other than that i predict we go at least 8-2 and get to the third round playoffs and hopefully a championship game again...it has been shown pretty clearly in the past 3 weeks that our running game isnt what it used to be and we are going to have to rely mostly on the quick pitches, screens, and long range passing to rack up the majority of our points... our o line is just too small to block good for up the middle bash them heads running... if we put #70 allen carter at right guard, #66 travis steptoe at left guard, and maybe #74 jon jones at left tackle, and let them get some experience then the line would be stacked with the biggest and strongest of the beavers. anyway we are gonna have a good season and maybe we will end it with a ring. but if not we will know we played our best! thegamer 10 Report Share Posted August 29, 2004 i feel u machine, i remember that game and the title game the year before and it was so gut wrenching, it broke my heart as it did everyone else on the team, and your not a wuss we all cried including the seniors, but gosh we had a lot of memoried the last 2 years going to wheeling island stadium and playin for all the bacon as coach simon says, i hope ya'll make it back and bring the bacon back to beaver country.. go beavers!!
