Who will win the SWD boys' championship?

  1. 1. Who will win the SWD boys' championship?

Carrol County won the SWD title last year, in a playoff between Tazewell and themselves. Tazwell won the SWD Tournament, was Region 4 runner-up, and went to AA State.

So who is going to take it this year in the big SWD. confused.gif

Graham has lost 2 outfielders, and , no offense, but a weak first baseman.

i see them winning the district.. remember last year's coppinger... when they're on, you've got elswick and remines rollin double plays, alvis with 10 + K's, and they all have homerun power, including several Jv players from last year.

I definitely see a winning season and District title contender in Graham's Baseball Program

richlands has a great baseball program with several 2nd and 3rd year players on varsity, and not to mention alot of the j.v. players coming up from an 18-0 season last year. Look for richlands to be a competitor in the district.

Those JV players off the 18-0 Richlands team are awesome. Arms is an awesome pitcher, and their infield was great. You couldnt get anything through their middle infield. Caleb Jennings at SS and Anthony Miller at 2nd, they were awesome and the whole team could go yard at anytime. They were just a well rounded team.

I agree..Richlands J.V. last year was the best around! Going 18-0 then eventually 21-0 with the SWD tourney..i think thats pretty awsome, and now you will have 3/4 of that team going to Varsity this year, i see a big season this year for Richlands baseball and hopefully finishing it off this year w/the SWD crown!

richlands is gonna have a very good team but nobody is looking at cc this year. They will have a good team, too. they have a lot of power hitters. Pitching may become an issue but they have pitchers who can throw hard and well. I think they have a chance

Richlands surprised with their depth last year at JV. But as it seems once they reach Varsity they dont get any better over the years. Coach Peery is a specialist at getting children to reach their top playing level. Potential means nothing, performance is everything.

No doubt about that, he was the best "HITS" hitter richlands has ever had. It didnt matter who was pitching he would hit the ball that might be missed but defensive wise, we've got that under control im pretty sure.
