Lance 228 Report Share Posted September 28, 2004 I wish they would get rid of those speakers that are on poles right in front of the stands on the home side...they are like the original ones from the early 80's and they are loud as hell in the stands. Not that I don't love to have my ears blasted with "Cotton Eyed Joe" as much as the next guy...but...it's a little on the loud side most of the time...and worst of all they block the view...either move them up higher or better yet get some new speakers (maybe ones that don't sound like bull horns) and put them on the outside of the field house or something. Wonder what it would take to get those at least moved out to the edge of the stands where you could see the field and not get blasted. and NO. I don't have anything better to bitch about...lol. hhstigerfan 12 Report Share Posted September 28, 2004 Thats the same problem with Twin Valley's speakers as well, they need to move them some place else.
BigBlue02 11 Report Share Posted September 29, 2004 They must do that at Track meets to that used to drive me nuts, I'd have some good music in my cd player and they would start blairing something. They Really need to move them things.
djr4hurleyfb 12 Report Share Posted September 29, 2004 They might not be so bad if not for the distortion that comes across those things when they have mess ups (sounds like a mechanical pig squealing! you know what i'm talking about) on turning it on and off. I sat right below them at the Grundy/Richlands game. Talk about ears hurting...
BigD4VT 11 Report Share Posted September 29, 2004 Grundy has the exact same problem on the visitor side. They are too loud and in the way. I think if you just put some decent speakers on the press box you won't need them anywhere else.
