I agree with you Ryan...I think the Tigers win easily also and I think the RHS/MHS game will be a better game...either way it's playoff time and we have worked every Friday night throughout football season and as of right now we are off...so we are heading somewhere to watch some quality football!

As of now me and tiger7327 were planning a trip to Marion Friday night...but hearing this I think we will head on over to Sandlick to root the Tigers on! Covington made us play Friday night last year!

Yeah I had always heard that mance liked his Friday night lights and wasn't sure the feelings of their fans!!! And I really don't know the feelings of most of the Honaker fans either just my little group I sit with..we all like the Saturday games! And I agree different strokes for different folks.

Ryan I guess there should not be Monday night or Thursday night NFL games then.... NFL games should just be played on Sunday!!! My point is the semis and championship are Saturday and we all know routine means a lot this time of the year...and like suprbeast beast said it sets the playoffs apart from the season....but on the same note I always did like watching Richlands on Friday then getting to watch my tigers on Saturday!

That's for sure craw daddy....TV is not a bad team...their 3 losses come from the #1,2,& 3 seeds in the west right now and Hurley's 2 losses from 1&2 teams....big week in the BDD this week!!!

Redtiger....Saturday would be awesome....having to work Friday night, Saturday game would keep me from being sick or having car troubles on the way to work! Lol Not to mention it's going to be like the playoffs anyways!!!

Going with Honaker on this one just because they are my home team and I know what this team is truly capable of....with that being said I haven't seen Haysi play since last year against altavista so I can't comment on if they are better this year or not or about the same...I do know that they might have been flying under the radar as far as swva is concerned but not Honakers radar!!!! The beating we took last year was down right embarrassing! We have had this game marked since that night. I don't think it will be a blowout either way this year but I do think it will be a shoot out. Honaker has too many offensive weapons and from what I've seen on here and in the paper so does Haysi!! Wish it was Friday already!

I think they changed the Honaker/Grundy game to Thursday next week

Keep working hard and winning games. Winning seasons and playoff runs build pride in your players, coaches, and community....which in turn will make more kids want to be a part of something big...especially the ones that are on the fence between playing and not playing...it would be nice to have a new rivalry for us in the district now that Haysi is leaving us!

BlueRazor I too wish the Honaker/Haysi game would be on Saturday...I work every Friday night and have to leave the home games at halftime! Halftime just won't cut it that night!

I'm going to have to go with Hurley on this one by 10 at least!!! Ok not really....Haysi wins big setting up one final BDD championship showdown between Honaker and Haysi!!!

What's your deal? Are you in love with Richlands? Or are you that jealous that we are a single A school and have that many kids that come out for football? Really what's the deal? We really don't care if they have 20 kids or 60...if they are on your schedule you have to play them...I personally would rather play the likes of union, gate city, or Richlands instead of the weaker teams we play....win or lose the competition only makes you stronger come playoff time.

As someone from the Honaker community I would like to thank you all for the prayers for this family...such a tragedy. Please continue to pray for them, her friends, classmates, and our community.
