It was a heck of a game to watch. Both teams had runners in position to score multiple times but either the pitchers worked out of the jams or the defenses made some spectacular plays to get out of the innings. Just like the Galax pitcher snagging that low line drive back at him that would have been a base hit.
Honaker wins a thriller scoring the go ahead run in the top of the 7th. Getting the final out on a throw from center to home plate to get the final out on a tag.

We didn't hit like we had been and part of that was your pitcher, Dishner. He pitched a heck of a game.
Eastside with a 15-2 win over Holston and Chilhowie with a 6-2 win over JI Burton.
Next Tuesday at Harding Field in Honaker. Eastside will face the winner of PH/Grundy at 5 and Honaker will face Chilhowie at 730.
