Yeah I think most are seeing that GW played 8 playoff teams and Sussex played 5 all of which lasted 1 round. Sussex will not be the best team GW has seem but GW will be 4 tds better than anyone sussex has seen. I can see where that would be a little off. But I think it was meant as they won't be caught off guard in terms of making adjustments. I've been watching film on Sussex all day and man they have ZERO good line play. Altavistas QB had all day to throw it. And when Sussex was on O Altavista was in the backfield almost every play. I thought with the way people talked about AV they would be big but nope they are tiny. Idk we will see tomorrow at 1:30 but GW holds all of the advantages of intangibles except speed and speed is dead even.

Coaching is very important no doubt but the coaches aren't the ones on the field. Without talent you won't win regardless of how good the coaching is. But talent will win games just off of being better athlete's than there opponents.

For GW it starts with an amazing sandlot program. Follow that up with a fan base that will throw money at the football program. And the fact that we have top of the line facilities example our weight room. And getting a great turn out every year to play. Yes we still have athletes roaming the halls but we have a great turn out every year. On top of all that our fans don't care what we have to do it gets done. For any team to be successful they have to have support. And it doesn't hurt to simply have more talent than the other guy.

I'd love to see BB continue this run but I only see 1 team beating Phoebus. SR that team is special.

I agree sos plays a much bigger part than most will admit. People gave me hell to begin the season for saying would matter now and it's proven true. And GW should pull away mid 3rd Q.

I agree with both of you guys. Don't get me wrong Sussex is no joke you don't get to 12-0 by not being good. But they are speed and speed only. GW is a complete team.

Yes I agree many think we are finesse but we really aren't. GW will smack you hard and frequently. In the Galax game they wilted after the 1st 3 to's and quit. After that game they woke up and have been trying to take souls with hits. And they do a pretty good job lol.
