Taylor Horn did play in the first game vs. Graham. He actually had an interception in that game.

Thanks, I made the correction/edit in my post. "Graham totally shut down Richlands’ talented receiver Taylor Horn, who didn’t have a catch on the night. Horn did have an interception for the Blues." Ieft a key word out there, it should have read," did not play "well."

  2. A good team will beat the weather, the refs, and the other team.  The idea that artificial grass is slippery when wet is a myth.  In fact an artificial field provides a safer weather-resistant surface.  There is no slippery mud or pooling of water.  Somewhat surprisingly, the majority of shoe-surface combinations show higher rotational traction during wet conditions compared to dry conditions. Water on rubber provides more traction and a lot of data shows an increase of injury.   Studies have shown cleat selection does have minor impact.  Advantage in wet weather in this game again goes to Graham.  A top receiver for Richlands played a great game against Ridgeview after limited time in previous games due to a knee injury.  I think this player, who did not play well in the first meeting between these two teams will be key.  He has to hold up for Richlands to have a fighting chance.  Again,  wet turf and increased traction is not easy on a pre-exsisting injury, especially to ankles , knees and hips.

  3. Graham gets the win , the score will depend on the coach.  I'd like to see it around 55-15.  The kicker is the best thing about Richlands, and he don't have to be close to make them, kid has a better average than 14 NFL players.  This tornado team has zero consistency and it's time to flop.  Richlands  basketball gains a few good players Monday.

  4. lets make Gman drop the hammer..  you know who is really in control here don't you?   I've been trying to get him to drop the hammer since day one.  He hasn't had the balls... so I guess I will drop it on myself because this is a waste of time. I am too smart for everyone here .  good luck losers.  guess what Gman ?  I just dropped the hammer on you kitty,  lol

  5. It is called the truth, if that upsets you then so be it.  I am sure you know about living in basements , calling people names and running to mommy every time you don't get your way,  by the way you chase my post all day just to insult and call names.  Who needs attention? There I gave you some.

  6. He may be one of your own but Richlands is not one of his own.  He left because someone down there in richlands powerstroked his father.  He did nothing wrong but what certain folks in that town did to them does not make the pain any less for the kid because you say he is one of your own or show up for a game. Do you have to be a former player to go watch a playoff game?  Maybe you just like basketball and want to see a good game because your schools season is over.

  7. Can't blame any of it on the kids a lot of them are helping to get electric bills and rent made for the families, with tons of responsibilities besides hitting the gym every evening after school. The area needs jobs, jobs where a man can support his family.  A lot of good athletes are sitting in the classroom having to run to a 7.25 an hour job after school.

  8. I think what is going on here is after you guys from Richlands powerstroked the previous head basketball coach and his son and ran them out of Richlands there is a feeling of guilt. And now you want to seem like their greatest fan.  Who really cares where the fans are from?  I am all for the support of Bluefield to win it all every year. And the support of all Bluefield players.  Anyone know how many Grundy fans are showing up for Bluefield games?  Just seems a little odd to me someone is counting Richlands fans showing up at Bluefield games.
