Pretty sure I wouldn’t be begging for ridgeview to change their offensive scheme and coaches if I wasn’t from ridgeview. If I’m from another team, I’m telling them to leave it exactly like they have it because they are their own worst enemy

It’s very hard to watch and very frustrating to know the athletes we have could have a very prolific offense.

depends on the defense on this one. Definitely can’t depend on offense because this game will be way too big for the play callers.

You hear all kinds of things but I doubt that was it. He’s coached without tiller before. My guess is he knew he wouldn’t be running the offense because of the Stanley takeover.

Heard that was the whole reason dewayne took the job so his son could have it when he’s done. Also heard that when he took it he was taking it so his son could call the offense and I said no way that happens. One is true guess the other may be too

I’m no offensive mastermind but I certainly would think that’s the main goal for most teams-to get the ball to their athletes and let them make a play. Not us. We chuck it 40 yards down field and hope they can run under either a ball way over thrown or come back to one that’s under thrown.

You are correct. I try not to be negative especially to my own team but something has got to change. Someone said it earlier we should have blown out every opponent to date. We can’t because we don’t know what we are doing offensively. We’ve done the things we have done because of the athletes we have that just go make the plays and the defense.

I don’t get it either. I hear way too many say oquinn was better as a freshman. It’s not his fault the coaches can’t set him up for success. We never seem to have a check down.

I don’t see us making the deep run everyone is talking about. We have the players.

I’m going to go back and watch the first half but I think we better be thanking Kent grant and the defense for this one. why do we have to throw the ball 60 yards down field every time we call a pass play? We aren’t doing anything but setting up our QB for sacks and turnovers.

If he would coach those boys to go after the ball like he went after that dropped hair tie we would be in business

Turned on NFHS to see a coach in the huddle putting his hair up while trying to talk to the players. Yeah you read that right. May want to wait till you get back on the sidelines to fix that bun so you can focus on the play calling. Another terrible play calling night just from what I seen in the last quarter and a half.

I’ll give credit where credit is due. The play call on the half back pass for the TD was a nice play call. Calls in the first half were somewhat questionable, but overall I feel like this was a much better week from the offensive standpoint.

It’s really kind of embarrassing. So many coaches would give their right kahuna for a team like this and we are allowing egos of coaches ruin this opportunity for the kids. I often wonder what the other coaches on the staff think about how things are going.

Absolutely not a doubt in my mind he could. I could spin a wheel and do better than son stanley.

They’re crazy if they try to get it to one specific receiver or even two. Most defenses are going to double 7 and 13. Yet we keep throwing into double and triple coverage so maybe you’re right.

I’ve seen enough of Ridgeview this year to say I don’t think they come out with the W this weekend. Should they? Absolutely. But, this game is too big for the one calling the offense. We will shoot ourselves in the foot like we have nearly every game so far but the difference in this one is you can’t make those mistakes against teams like union. Hope I’m wrong but I won’t be surprised if union takes this one by two TD’s

Abingdon seems to be struggling. Central Very well could take this one.

That’s because young Stanley is helping call the plays and he really should be no more than a towel holder right now. The level of play and talent on this team is definitely over his head and it’s appearing to be over old Stanley’s head also. Hope they figure this out and get out of their own way or the talent on this team will only take them so far.
