Has anyone heard for certain if Oak Hill did drop Bluefield? If so the Beavers could go 3 straight weekends without a game.

Doesn't make your own team look good, when you cut down WV football, then turn around and lose to a WV team If you think overall WV football isn't any good, try playing someone in one of the following: The Kanawha Valley Area Capital, South Charleston, George Washington, Mon Valley Area Morgantown or University Mid Ohio Valley Parkersburg, Parkersburg South or how about Ravenswwod that beat Bluefield in the semifinals Eastern Panhandle Martinsburg Northern Panhandle Brooke or Magnolia What you see in those Southern Coalfield Areas of WV other than Bluefield isn't what the rest of WV is like.

this might sound crazy, but could Oak Hill knowing that they will be AAA in 2012 be talking to Brooke about playing on 10/07 thus having 3 AAA opponents for 2012 already Nicholas Princeton Brooke and then could have dropped Bluefield, does anyone know if there was a signed contract for 2011 between Bluefield and Oak Hill?

Ok, I just got word that Bluefield turned down Brooke. Why? since both needed a game and had the same open weeks.

Any word on who Bluefield may be talking to to replace Mt View or will it be a 9 game season?

Yes, that's what is on their site, but the problem is also on that very same site Mt. View is shown playing on Fayetteville schedule on 10/07, they can't be playing both Bluefield and Fayetteville on that date. By the way the WVSSAC site really isn't official, Athletic Directors or Coaches post those schedules, not people in the WVSSAC office. This is a common error on there, schools having 2 games listed on the date. It also already happening on Hannan in week 2: vs Meadow Bridge and Hundred

Look at 10/07 Mt. View has also got a game with Fayetteville on the same day as Bluefield and then on 10/14 has scheduled Van Is there any chance that the Mt. If Oak hill is week 8 for Bluefield, I see a problem. I just got Nicholas County schedule and they have Oak Hill listed as week 8 Anyone know the correct date for Bluefield vs Oak Hill?

I can assure you that Morgantown will be playing Steubenville in 2011 and 2012. I can also assure you if Bluefield and Morgantown had the same open dates that both Fred Simon and John Bowers would have already agreed to a game. I heard that Morgantown even called Wheeling Central to see if the Marron Knights would play.

How big a school is Appalachia High School? Morgantown, WV is loooking for 2 games and has the Aug. 26th date open also.

They currently have open WV weeks: 1 - 8/26 2 - 9/2 11 - 11/4 Anyone needing a game in any of those weeks call Coach John Bowers or Athletic Director Dan Erenrich at 304-291-9260 Morgantown is AAA school with about 1700 students.
