Dont know about the rest but Tazewell has filmed many of their games..

These are in no order: 1. Martinsville 2. Tunstall 3. Graham 4. Va. High 5. Abingdon

I'd play if I could come in from college..

We had some local colleges come to a few of our games like E&H and Virginia Intermont etc. and the rest just called the coach asking for film and stuff..

Its probably going to be either double elimination or round robin tourney.. And if its like last year Tazewell didnt play Richlands.. Its broken up into two different groups and there will be a champion of each group.. I think last years winners were Tazewell and Graham(not for sure couldve been Abingdon)...

Based on last years SWD List and from what I remember. My Pre-Season pick.. These will more than likely change after the 1st week of games and especially during the Tazewell Soccer Tourney.. 1. John Lancaster (CCHS) 2. Francis Tumbokon (GHS) 3. Ian Tinsley (THS) 4. Bill Mercke (GHS) 5. Johnny Gardner (CCHS)

That wouldve been great to have last year.. It would be a great thing to start... What I was also thinking is for each team to start an alumni game..

Internet mostly.. You can go to the college websites or go on google/yahoo and search soccer camps..

A guy I know went and said it was a horrible camp but I went and there were 3 D-1 players there which made it a great camp.. But a camp I went to this past year was the Penn State Blue Chip Camp. Its only a weekend camp but the competition is the best and they work you almost as hard as they would their own players..

At this Penn State Nike Camp, are there alot of hs athletes that go to this or what? Anyone have the details??

I lead this travel team in cards a few years back in Bristol, I had 10+ cards in 15 or so games. In one tourney I got 3 yellows and 1 red in 3 games. 2 of the yellows were from me playin in the field and im so aggressive, but the red card I got i was goin for the ball while i was goalie and basically clipped a dude, i didnt see him but he acted like i killed him. The funny thing is the next game i broke a kids shin and nothing happened to me haha..

Thats because ya already have 2 football teams playin at M.S. and if the soccer team played on it that would be 3 teams in the same season and that field would be hell haha... Plus doesnt Bluefield play at East River Soccer Complex? If so I would rather play on that than a football field anyways.. And what someone said soccer teams dont mess up fields.. Depending on the weather it does.. All my goalie boxes last year were really muddy.. The worst was probably all the SWD fields and Abingdons..

Well for the past couple of years he only coached Girls soccer and Fred Harman coached boys varsity and he always found someone to coach the JV team.. He is like the head over all the teams..

I dont know it was some deal with his parents from what I heard.. But Tazewell does need a player like him to play Varsity..

Since Cecil and Rinehart left, its hard for Tazewell to find the back of the net..

Not for the whole year.. I forgot about her haha.. But the JV Keeper 2 years ago.. He also played Goalkeeper last year when there was no Varsity game after it.. My bad

Tazewell lost four players(2 being starters) last year from Graduation.. Two more arent playing from what I heard, one playing baseball and the other just quit playing.

From what ive heard, Tazewell also has a few options at keeper. By hearing what people have said and what I know, the two best options are the last years JV Goalkeeper and there is a new kid from Bluefield WV who might be playing.

The one district we can compete with is the one of the closest districts with the Highlands in my opinion. But to see the soccer I do now, we're way behind. I say its about the same around Blacksburg because up here we play all year long and thats what makes the difference...
