High School sports roundup BRISTOL HERALD COURIER Mar 31, 4:00 AM EST Josh Brintle and O.J. Reed combined for a no-hitter Wednesday night as Tazewell’s baseball team opened its season with a 5-0 blanking of visiting Princeton (W. Va.). Brintle fanned 11 in five innings, while Reed worked the last two. Brintle also added two hits and Reed contributed a two-run single.

I cant make 2nd team Regions yet alone state! ha Does anybody know when the list will be released or anything?

Has VA listed the state teams yet. If so, did any of the likes from this area such as Scoresome, Justus, Bryd, Colley and others make the list? Thanks.

Well Im black and everyone gives me alot of respect from other schools and most of them are country boys. haha There was only 1 time in my career that on the court someone made a racial remark and it was against CC up there. It was to one of my friends and he went off right there on the court and got pulled back. Funny part I dont even think a Technical was given and it was cussing and finger pointing. But for most of it, I have friends in Grundy and Richlands--- just to back them 2 towns up in previous post.

Well V-High gave Abingdon their 1st loss our 2nd--Gman said they lost to Oak Hill but didnt count cause of charity game. I would have like to see Durron Mitchell play... Is he a guard or what? Hes Player of the Year so I know hes got skills.

Well i cant talk for tazewell's next years team cause I wont be there. I talked a little before this year and backed up that little with our season. Im just glad to go out saying we beat Graham at least 5 times in one year with baseball to come--2 football and 3 b-ball!
