From a prior post, someone mentioned Bluefield's ranking at www.maxprepsrankings.com was #201. I checked it out this morning and they're now at #149 and #20 on the east coast since the win over James Monroe. Check the website out, its interesting!

TJ's injury was a hyper-extended knee... not anything to the ankle, as for Quintin Steptoe he chipped a small piece of bone off his shoulder.. nothing was popped out of place on him, and he says he'll be playing this Friday! TJ is out for 2 weeks minimum.

The tigers will host the g-men Friday night.. go to the Bluefield/Herbert Hoover make-up game tho!

I never expected for Welch to see this game as such a big event, until I walked into the stadium and I could actually feel the rivalry! IMO Bluefield didn't deserve this game b/c MV played their hearts out- and did anyone else notice how they LAID it on Rusty and David??! Rumor is that Rusty's side torso is hurting him pretty bad. Good job to MV and BHS... Keep up the perfect record beavers!
