Im not real sure how long it is i just remember that it was a long trip last year so i guessed that it was about 2 hours. and that pass over lovers leap was pretty scary.

Everyone is forgetting Carroll. We may not have a stand out back but yates is pretty dang good and JT can run too. Im not saying that yates or JT will win the rushing title but i wouldnt be surprised if Carroll had more rushing yards from their backs than all the teams in the SWD. Besides all we do is Run and our main pass play is desigen to be a run first option.

Yeah Lance and Cody are both pretty good. I think that Cody got second team all SWD or something as a Freshman punter. and lance has always been good. Plus Coach ayers has some nfl hook ups so they are almost guarnteed to go some kinda pro

Carroll doesnt really have to go anywhere this year. Longest I think is Bassett its about 2 or 2 and an half hours away. Thankfully Grundy and Richlands and Tazewell have to come to us this year. Oh yeah Graham is pretty far too.

Guys, dont count CC out. Ive seen all of yalls posts and all of them have CC on the bottom. We only had six seniors last year and only 4 played! We will be a surprise team this year (no suprise for me though). Dont count us out. I seriously think that we will be up at the top this year. I need to brag on one of my fellow team mates. Cody Vaughn just recently maxed out on all of his major lifts. He got 270 on bench, 500 on squat, and 250 on power clean and he is only a sophomore!!! and he also runs about a 5 2 forty. He is going to be on of the top SWD lineman this year and next!

Cody Vaughn will be a big line man for us this year. He is benching 270, squats 500 and cleans 250!!

I agree that all four seniors on the team have contributed greatly. Maybe what I should have said is that Wengered is the only senior we dont have a set backup for. All the rest we have very capble backups for everyone else. I wanna say that Shockley, Bowman, Pruitt, and Wengered have all had great years. Shockley as well as Bowman have done a great job blocking and playing defense. They are among the top in tackling for our program. Pruitt has done an OUTSTANDING job at reciver and DB. I dont know many of the records at CC for reiciving or anything, but i know that pruitt has to be close. He is probably avearging over 50 yards a game or more in a run first second and third team. Thats amazing. And Wengered has a great season with the exception of the Richlands game. Once again he must be close to some records for CC while playing for three years now. Great Job all seniors from CC.

I was saying that Grundy would lose to va high in hopes that they would so that Carroll could pick up some points to get in second in refion 4 division four(that may be out of tha question now though). They both are good. Va High is freagin huge and have some speed. Grundy is big but not quite as big they may just be faster, not quite sure. But either way this will be a good game. I had to put in that ot to make it sound intersting.

When I said that quote, I wasn't putting down grundys field. I was thanking Richlands for putting down quick dry to try and make the field better. I have to admit that Grundy and Richlands are better THIS YEAR. I, by no means, ment to cause an argument. Oh yeah, with the whole ref thing, we didnt pick them for any game so why would they like us any better than yall.

Does anyone know anything about the team William bird? Carroll County will open against Floyd and then play them. We are trying to play harder teams to get higher rankings and i was wondering how good they were.

Yeah, hopefully we will see ya again whether we are a number three seed or a four seed it doesn't matter. Richlands feild was in good shape except in spots. But at least yall put on some quick dry to attempt to make it better. Theres no way we could make an excuse about that.

I do agree that this year Grundy is a better team than us. I also thank you for being rational. Next year is our year. Just think, we have six seniors this of which only four play. The rest of the team is juniors and sophmores. Sure we are losing a great RB in Wengered,who didn't have the greatest game against richlands, but thats about it. Everything esle will be in tact next year. So next year is going to be our year. Maybe we might suprise some people in the playoffs too. Ya never know!
