  1. Any time a team is 13-0,they have to be pretty damn good. When Bluefield faces Wayne in Wheeling, both teams will be undefeated. The difference could very well be emotion.I urge everyone from Bluefield if possible to make the trip. When you make the trip, bring your milk jugs, cow bells, cheer sticks or whatever to makes some REAL NOISE.Lets rock the island and give the Beavers the rowdy support they deserve.
  2. Can anyone re-print the article from today's Steubenville Herald-Star about the post game activities on this site?
  3. I was in the stands for the complete game. The offense was set and The official signalled to stop the clock immediately after Q.B. spiked the ball.Had the coach from Weir not made such a call as passing on 4th down, there would not be any such questions.Anyone who knows anything about football, knows not to pass in that situation when your opponent does not have any timeouts, has not moved the ball offensively and is behind by 2 scores. Was he trying to run up the score? or run out the clock? Whatever he was trying,It backfired.
  4. The rumor is the incident seemed to be provoked by a Weir Fan who said something to a Weir coach. Also a Weir player who seems to need anger management classes, was involved. He had taken his jersey off,so there's no way to identify him.He may have been trying to breaks things up,although several people were restraining him,as he was trying to get to coach. Weir coaching staff were trying to restrain the one Weir coach as he was trying to get to Weir player. He broke loose as B.P.D. arrived on scene. He was tackled, handcuffed and led from field.Everyone involved was from Weir sidelines. If any one from Weir would like to clear up the story,we would welcome comments.
  5. I hope it was not Cooper who was involved in the post game activities. If it was,he should fit in well at W.V.U.
  6. Congratulations to THE BLUEFIELD BEAVERS.This has to go down as the greatest comeback in B.H.S. history.Being a play off game and with most of the fans thinking that the season was over, the Beavers never gave up.All the Beavers have the hearts of champions. Also congrats to Weir,as they played their butts off. They have an outstanding program. It is a shame that the incident happened after the game.
