The GMen were the latest victim Friday night at the ERNIE. 30 to Zip. The Graham offense had a total of 44 yards. They did not have a clue about what to do against the powerful Richlands front line. Richlands won the game on defense and special teams. Hey Cola, can we get eight, er nine more shutouts???

I don't think the Richlands fans have ever been as loud as they should be. Did anyone notice Salem's crowd noise last year in the state semi-final. They were ten times louder than we were!! It only takes a few signs or a few fans to stand up and lead some NOISE!!! Let's all put a little thunder in the STORM!!!

Not since 1987 have the Blues started with three straight shutouts. The Blues finished with seven on the season and were beaten by VHigh in the Region IV championship with Chad King being called out of bounds on the last play of the game. What a year for the Blues!! Week 4 the Blues were beaten by Tazewell---Won't happen this year. The Storm is Here to Stay!!!

The Storm Came and Went....Richlands is the real deal!! No highlights tonight!! Marcum might need to learn to run vertical against a strong defense...could not turn the corner tonight. ROWE loses again to MANCE. Anyone see a trend???

Hard work and determination paid off for RHS ALUM Cain Ringstaff. He was dressed and on the sidelines for the University of Virginia. He wears #32. Groh only takes around 57 on travel squad so away games may not be a definite. Congrats Cain and good luck. He is in the top right part of the picture. This was last week against W. Michigan.

Agassi is a timeless warrior. He still has a grand slam left in him--hopefully this one!! He is flat out the best returner of serve that has ever played the sport and this keeps him competitive in today's game. He is not at the level a Roger Federer is at, but on a given day could give him a run for his money.

What a match last night!! Anyone else stay up and watch it. As Mike Greenberg said this moring on ESPN Radio: this match was the most exciting and dramatic sporting event of this year!! I totally agree!!

My choices for the Saints are: Vegas or Mexico City. The NFL would love the tap into these two markets!! Adios New Orleans!!

What everyone has failed to mention in every thread on this board. ROWE CANNOT BEAT MANCE EVEN WITH SUPERIOR TALENT!!!! Mance has his number. Period. Enjoy the ride Grundy that will be the only thing to enjoy Friday night. THE STORM IS COMING!!!!

Minutes of the August meeting will have to be approved at the September meeting; however, there should be a press release as to what went on at the meeting. This is done for media outlets and such.

How did the Blues look?

I heard that in an effort to help the officiating at RHS BBall games that the commissioner's son will be the assistant coach. I think Jeff Altizer is who you meant to say FATBOY!! He was a former point guard for Tom "Cool Hand" Lucas in the late 80s.

The late word from the Richlands Downtown Quarterback Club was that this gentleman was the odds on favorite to take the Richlands BBall job:

My conversation was with current RHS Football Coach Greg Mance. My suggestion is that we compensate him to the nth degree and let him coach football, boys bball, and boys baseball. That way we can at least make a regional tournament in each sport seeing how Mance is the only boys coach able to figure out how to win!!! Hey Alum, Did we forget to mention former RMS 7th Grade coach Tom Goforth. He had an outstanding record!!

According to this week's Richlands News Press, Tom Rife will not be returning as the RHS Boys Basketball Head Coach next season. This will mark the end of an era in RHS Boys BBall history. Coach Rife has had his share of sucess and failure throughout his tenure; however, his lack of enthusiasm and dedication seem to have sealed his fate as the "Mustachio Bench Boss." Where does RHS BBall go next?? I am sure this position will generate a ton of intrest from several local coaches as well as coaches within the current RHS Staff. Anybody have any predicitons?? Maybe City of Raven could coach...he does have a high school education now!!!

Word is that Hurst might next be starting a sporty new trend in Richlands called the KOSMO LOOK!!!!

BOYS, Lets all go easy on Hurst. Word is he is going to see his barber in the morning. If he would let it go a little more he might end up looking like everyones favorite:
