...anybody catch the Chicago Fire @ Toronto FC yesterday? Toronto FC scored the first goal in team history (finally), received the first red card in team history, and the first win in team history (3-1). But besides that it was an awesome game with amazing atmosphere. The crowd was singing "All we are saying is give us a goal" to the tune of John Lennon's "Give Peace A Chance". Free promotional seat cushions were given out at the start of the game, almost all of which ended up on the pitch every time TFC scored. It was a real European atmosphere in MLS. Just wondered if anyone else saw this match.

Yeah Klinsmann was my pick for the new coach, too. I mean he lives in LA for crying out loud. That's okay, though. Bradley is only the 2nd coach in US history to win his first 2 games in charge (not sure if he's set some sort of record with the third W).

USA already has a coach: Bob Bradley. The man's done an incredible job. Not the guy I was hoping for the job, but you can't argue w/ results. Bob used to be Bruce's assistant at DC United for the first two MLS seasons until he took the head coach position at Chicago in 1998 (his team beat DC 2-0 in the MLS cup that year ).
