  1. If you ask me, Bluefield's "hard schedule" couldn't compete against these teams in Va. I believe Pulaski County beat Bluefield in a pre season scrimmiage. According to some Cougar football players and fans, Bluefield could not handle the quickness and toughness of Pulaski County which had them beat during the end of the first half. Due to this beating Pulaski put on the "State Champs" in the scrimmage, "Crybaby" Simon decided to add an extra quarter to the scrimmage, but once again, it backfired leaving the Beavers to lose in the scrimmage.
  2. BigT2 Getting tired of your crap!!! Take a chill pill... "G"
  3. I would love to see either former Pulaski County and Former Woodrow Wilson (Beckley)head coach Joel Hicks or Former Graham head coach Glynn Carlock become the head of the so-called "Bluefield Barrons." I think semi-pro football should do well in Bluefield, for the fact everything else in the city is tumbling down. Maybe, if the Barrons have a band, I would consider being a part of it.
  4. You have to understand, Bluefield doesn't really play anybody that's good. If schools like Pulaski Co played the exact same schedule Bluefield played this year, they would easily won the state title back to back. Bluefield should consider crossing over to the Virginia side hooking up with teams with high value. Instead of playing Shady Springs, Grungy (Grundy), and Oak Hill, Bluefield should play Heritage (Lynchburg) Liberty (Bedford), William Fleming (Roanoke) or even Radford. Someone with a fair team.
  5. I honestly think since Bluefield won the state AA in West Virginia, and Salem won the group AA state in Virginia, I honestly think it's about time for the two schools to go head to head with each other. Either way, this game will bring in both the fans and money because it seems Bluefield and Salem love football and love to "win" (cheat). I think this year, Bluefield should take a trip to wonderful Salem Stadium to play against the mighty Spartans.
  6. I think this should be an approprate schedule for the 2005 Beavers. 8/26 Graham 9/2 At Princeton 9/9 At William Fleming(Roanoke,Va) 9/16 Grundy 9/23 At Oak Hill 9/30 Salem,Va 10/7 Radford,Va or George Wythe (Wytheville) 10/14 Mt. View 10/21 At Herbert Hoover 10/28 James Monroe 11/4 Open
