I'm with you on that one. We should win, and in all likelyhood it will be a blowout. But it is the playoffs, and stranger things have happened.

However, he's not there, which means we are the worst team on the league. The only reason we'd win games with him in there is because we would ourscore everyone. Our D is pathetic.

He does not have the worst team in the league, that belongs to my Colts. We are just going to agree to disagree. You obviously like, I obviously don't see anything in him, character aside. So let's leave it at that. Lol

I'm not saying you have to win Super Bowls to be "great", but if you watch any NFL show, you know that rings are the standard in any sport. That's not to sat that every QB that has won one is a world-beater (Trent Dilfer) or that if you don't win one you aren't worth anything (Marino). All I'm saying is it's a shame that character can't take you to the top, because he has more than 90% of the other players in the league. Unfortunately for him, you also need skill, and luck. He just hasn't shown me the skill yet. Once again, he has beat a 1-7 team and a Raiders team that is more Jeckyl-and-Hyde than Virginia Tech. When he played a legit team (Detroit) he was smacked in the mouth. As I said in an earlier post, if he becomes an Elite NFL QB, I'll eat crow all day. But I just don't see it.

I don't think he was saying LT should be in the Heisman contention. I think he was saying we could get a shot at Stanford again. Which is plausible. Also, this thread was about LSU for about 5 posts, then it took a back road. Lol.

He's an Alabama fan, so of course he's going to say Richardson. I personally think it's either Luck or James.

I don't know about that. Taylor Martinez can't throw at all. He couldn't hit the ocean if he was on the beach.

I listened to the game on the radio, and I wanted to rip my ears off!!! That one guy was as monotone as anything I've ever heard since Curtis Stacy.

The Chargers aren't anything to write home about. Neither are the Raiders.

Today, Nov. 12th, 2011, I join BigBlueAlum, bhs7695, futbolking, GetMoney55, Hacker, buzzsawBeaver, ghs84, WaveFan09, hokie07, and last but not least, deuceswild, as a proud member of the SWVA Sports 2,000 club!!!! I've been thinking for a few days on how to make my post amazing, but with deuceswild creating the greatest post of all-time, I decided I can't top that. So instead I went the route of just saying thanks to GMan and Lance, all the Mods, and everyone on here who has made this board everything it is. I'd like to thank UVAO for all the advice, deuceswild for teaching me how to spell George Wythe, Lance for creating that football game so many years ago and making me a Moderator, Southy and Falconman for giving me much needed comic relief on many occasions, BigD for introducing me to the board, and lastly, GMan for not banning me. I'm sure there have been several occasions where he could have. For all of this, I am grateful. So here's to the next thousand posts!!! In the words of Ric Flair "Wooooooo"!

Last post until I get home, as this will be my 1,999th. The problem with the offense is that it is predictable. We all know what happens when a team shuts the run down. They can't pass. They proved it past year. Washington went 2-7 for 80ish yards. So you stop their run, you stop Georgia Tech. Problem is, stopping the run. I'll be making my 2,000th post this evening before the game. So I should be back posting for the game!!! Cheers!!

I absolutely dread games in which the other team runs the Triple Option. If I was a GT fan when they hired Johnson, I'd have switched loyalties. Lol. It's just so boring and lethargic. It's so predictable, it's unpredictable.
