Pick the teams in the region final

Marion beat Va. High in the first round 5-0 goals were by Adam Freeman-2, Garrett Bushnell, David Francis, and Matt Knauer. They will face Abingdon wednesday night for the tourney title.

I think he was just overwhelmed by the crowd and intensity on the field and just couldn't keep up

5:00 at Sugar Hollow the center ref was the one that always wear the aviators

There were multiple yellows. Marion one Abingdon one I believe. Center ref lost control of the game...kids were cursing to his face about calls and he didn't do anything rematch on Saturday

That makes it conveinent for the Region IV champ

What happened to him?

What happened to the keeper?

Is bassett having a down year?

I think they had five games this week so if they have anything left then it would be a good game to watch but they might be worn out as hell...their defense is stout though with a good keeper keepin them together.

That is only if they play as a team though otherwise they could get knocked by Richlands

Marion won it 6-0; it was 2-0 after a horrible first half by Marion but improved to secure a minimal tie for regular season champions in the Highlands.

I heard the score was 3-1 Abingdon...any details?

This game was a good match up...Carroll has finally started getting everything together and making a very strong team effort. The defense is very stout and anchored by a very strong keeper that had some amazing saves in the second half. I wouldn't be surprised to see Carroll sweep the district tourney if they keep it together. Marion had at least 10 golden opportunities to score in the second half and just couldn't finish then finally one went in off the post for the win improving Marion to 14-0-0 (2-0).

The game will most likely be very physical after playing last night the tension between players hasn't had time to disapate. I'm guessing a red card might get thrown along with a few yellows. Should be a good one to watch

They are numerous individuals that are plently talented between both teams there just isn't a full team worth...until there are 11 players with that level of talent it will be hard to reach the caliber of the rest of the state

What are the records so far...Has Tazewell clinched the regular season yet?

If the Highlands is the laughing stock of the state and Piedmont is where the talent is then why didn't they make it to states last year? They also is plently of talent on the teams

Even though they are bad teams its still not easy to consistently score 7-8 goals a game against any team. The Marion game will indeed be their first test of the season.

They beat Martinsville last year and even though they haven't beat a strong team this year they have still obliterated everyone they have played

It will be the best game within the Region. Last year's region champ and region runner up...it doesn't get much better than that.
