  1. Joe Thomas Laron Landry or Jamaal Anderson?
  2. Dwayne Jarrett Defensive 1st overall pick or offensive?
  3. They obviously don't suck that bad. Kiper had them both ranked very high on the Big Board. Pretty sure he knows what he is talking about. I would trust his judgement.
  4. There it is. No big suprise that the Raiders take JaMarcus Russell as the 1st overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
  5. Speaking of Joe Thomas...what are yalls' reactions to him going to fishing with his dad on draft day. I think it is great. This guy doesn't need the stress of being in the Radio City Music Hall all day. He is out enjoying with his father.
  6. The Raiders need a play-making quarterback. JaMarcus Russell is the man they want. Although he may not be the best player in the draft, he will go first because the Raiders need a QB. I also think Brady Quinn will go somewhere in the 6-10 range and will not be a starter as a rookie. The best player in this year's draft is by far Calvin Johnson and I have him going 4th to the Buccaneers. If the Lions pick him I will honestly shoot myself. They have drafted a WR first like the last 10 years it seems. I think they need to pick Joe Thomas from Wisconsin to help out on that O-line. I am a huge Chief fan and Kiper has them picking Robert Meachum from Tennessee. I think this would be a great pick for them, but I hope they pick up a good OG to replace Brian Waters. Looking forward to tomorrow.
  7. That is a quarter it is beside. I think it is the Montana quarter.
  8. Hey GHS84, what is your problem man. You didn't see us talking crap after this win. So why you gotta come out and make a smart-ass remark like that?
  9. [ QUOTE ] We have won it 1 time..Back in 1976 or 1978..Not sure exactly which one..Ask Coach Simon, I think he was on the team lol [/ QUOTE ] Wow. Must have been forever ago if Simon was on the team. LOL.
  10. I may be wrong but I believe they have never won it. Have to check with someone else. I am not sure about it.
  11. God. Do they not realize how bad it is? I see how unintelligent they are by being in school for 17 years. WOW.
  12. The Mets may have scored more, but as of right now the Braves are 4-2 against the Mets. Should be fun to watch the race to October.
  13. WTF? Can't you guys speak regular English? This stuff you are saying doesn't make sense to a half-way intelligent person. By the way....Wal-Mart is not plural in this case. You guys should have stayed in school longer.
  14. Yea. I am definately voting for the recreation center. Yes, it will be hot but we will have 5 more tickets to send out. I am still glad to see Mitchell is finally getting turf. There next renovation project should be new locker rooms. The ones now are quite rough.
  15. I may be taking this the wrong way again, but a statement like "freaks and geeks" is very disrespectful.
  16. Very nicely down fellas. I hope we can get on another one those long winning streaks. A Coppinger Championship thrown in there would be nice to have. Keep it going guys.
  17. Okay man. I am sorry about it dude. Believe it or not I am a high school kid too. I can be very immature sometime but I try to keep my composure on here. Sorry man. I just get irritated when people (not singling you out) get too worked up over stuff. I do that a lot on here and I want to apologize. Good night guys.
  18. I am sorry that I took the word "freak" wrong. Figured he was saying he was a freak because he was smart. That is usually the way it goes.
  19. Haha. That is pretty funny, but it is quite true.
  20. Have you grown up in a war-torn country? I didn't know SWVA is such a terrible place. Try to grow up in a place like that, go to college when you are 15 and not only be drafted into the NFL, but also get a degree. You have a lot of work to do. I don't even know you but I don't think anyone on this board has been through anything like Omobe has and I don't anyone that will be drafted in to the NFL.
  21. [ QUOTE ] Louisville #8??? really They lost their coach and Bush isn't coming back. I know they lost someone else too. Oh yeah, that freak 19 year old on DLine and some more players can't remember them all [/ QUOTE ] So you call Omobe Okoye a "freak" because he is smart? That is really nice of you. You should have more respect for someone who has accomplished more than you can ever dream of. I hate immature idiots that post whatever they want to on here, talking crap about anybody just because it makes them feel more manly. One word describes this....childish. Louisville could lose two games actually. WVU and Rutgers are their two hardest opponents and they both have a chance of beating the U of L. We'll have to wait and see.
  22. I wouldn'd say that WV is weak. That is a bad way to put it. This comes back to the population thing and money. It seems that there are perinally 2 or 3 great teams in WV that could take a shot at some of the middle-to-upper class VA schools. Yes, I go to Bluefield and you may think I am biased, but our '97 and '04 teams were both amazing teams. You can't take a team like that as a blow-off because of where they are from. I know Morgantown the last few years have been nasty and would have been hard to beat. I know that someone from VA will get on here and say "They were amazing and had good records because they play in WV." I can sit here and honestly say that overall VA is a better state for most, if not all, sports. Let us please stop arguing about something like this. I mean there is no way to tell who is right and who is wrong. Can we just drop it?
  23. Look what they did all year without Bush. I think their biggest question mark is the coach. We will have to wait and see. The still are going to have won of the most potent offenses in the nation. It will be a really fun season to watch. Looking forward to it.
  24. We have to realize that the higher-class VA schools have 2 to 3 times more students than our top schools do. We have around 550 students at BHS, yet nearly every year we have a team that could compete with the middle-class VA schools who have a much bigger population. When you have more people going to your school you can get more money. Money is a big thing in everything we do in life and as sad as it is, money can determine the caliber of a high school football team. I think that is a bit stupid but it is the way the world goes.
