why like DUKE or UNV when you can pull for teams like UVA(which sucks this year like always) FSU(which also suckz this year) or WFU ( which has sucked since Chris Paul left us) i have pulled for this three teams since i was 3 years old...now im 18. idk who yall pull for...just as long as you dont switch teams when the suck. for EX. UVA is like 2-9 in the ACC, but i would pull for them if they were 0-15 in the ACC.

thank you GMan. and you are right. Carroll County has been in the SWD longer than Abingdon.... honestly, during Fball season, i didnt mind the busride to Abingdon, or Graham, or Grundy, or Richlands.... it gave me time to sleep and think about what i had to do...i dont see why they are complaining

i always enjoyed playing Grundy in my last four years at CCHS, i guess i get to watch one more football game between CC and GRUNDY. im a senior so i went to grundy twice and grundy came down here twice... i enjoyed playing them...good luck in yalls final SWD season in 2008

so grundy could possibly not be in the SWD in the 09-10 school year....that sucks for the other SWD teams, but Grundy would have a better chance of winning a distric championship maybe on the single-A division IMO. I dont know who is in the BDD but i got time to kill so i guess ill look it up.

fred had a lot of good ideas, but he just couldnt get the votes he needed to be a top runner on the republican ballot.

correct me if im wronge, but didnt the SWD championship game come down to TAZEWELL vs CARROLL. didnt carroll give tazewell a run for their money last year. carroll has not lost that many players. im not sayin we gonna win distric or anything, but dont underestamate us. we will be a tough team to defeat. dont count us out yet, because from what ive read on the posts, many people dont kno too much bout carroll's soccer program and how many players we lost. im just saying dont count us out when the season hasnt even started yet

Graham has a lot of talent on their team every year. Gretna vs Graham would be a great game. Richlands also has great talent and could compete with Gretna and other single-A powerhouses. Honestly, the SWD probably should be single-A IMO

carroll will be desent this year from the talk around school. maybe a distric contender, but if we make playoffs, we wont go that deep this year.

do any of ya run track, if so post ya name, ya school, and ur events Matt Sutton, Carroll County, ( 800m, 4x800m relay, maybe 4x400 m relay ) ( Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump )

no griff was a sophmore last year if i remember correctly. Tibbs are you Tibbs from the Graham track and field team with that Afro type hair style ( no offense thats just how i remember ) but when griff qualifes for the state meet at the Radford Invatationals for 1 mile and 2 mile, that lets hime run other events where he can further dominate. Matt Coble from carroll isnt quite as fast, but he has been workin really hard since last year. so i believe griff will sill beat him, but coble will give griff a run for his money

Abingdon will probably dominate the SWD in mens track this year. They have a heck of a log distance runner in Griff. post back and let me kno what you think
