Come on man what are you sayin riged refs marion had 21 fouls the whole game, graham had 17, graham was pushing off all night long and we couldnt get a call down low all night...but in all reallity man the refs sucked both ways..and no graham is not the better team to be a good team you are supposed to play when it matters the most and at the district tourny they didnt look like they deserved to even be on the court.....GO CANES!!
zak jarrett wont do anything against marion and nor has he before. every year he gets shut out. if he gets POY it wont be judged on his play against Marion.
WELL for your information RICHLANDS and GRUNDY BEAT Graham in the district tourny soo doesnt seem much of a watering down considering they beat Graham, and you can only play whos on your schudule Graham lost there last 3 out of 4 games and Marion won there 10 out of 11 so i do believe Marion is playing the bast ball now unlike Graham who played the best ball during the regular season
They are not allowed by VHSL rules during tourny play i do believe. I know they are not allowed at the state tourny so i would think they wouldnt be allowed at regions as well.

The team had alot of talent last year but if you play baseball you should know if you got those few who are negitive then the rest of the team is going to fell shortly behind.
If you have never heard of them you are missing out on some really good talent. Matt Noe, Gavin Roe and Brock Hanna have led the canes to 11-1 in there last 12 games.
I believe that both Marshall and Terence will both move up to play because Gavin is a exilent player but they will need someone eles to shot which would be Marshall and for PG, Terence is one of the quickest boys Marion has and they will still have Tyler which plays really good ball. The inside game will still be strong for Marion next year because a mixture of Branson, Micheal, and Lucus they will be unstopable.
Marion has all their returning starters from last year, with the exception of two seniors from last year that did nothing but drag the team down. The canes will be a threat in 2009
Blevins, Funk, Rakes, The Dotsons, Nicely, Thomas, Nelson, all returning starters
with an additional new center fielder freshman brett johnson.
This team has alot of talent, leadership, and heart this year.
Watch out for the canes....
