  1. There are always some wise guys in the crowd. Cut the picture and make a wish Mr. Wave fan 09.
  2. We'll see pantherfan, okay Rebel soldiers turn the Jaguar (Blankenship) lose followed by the Hurry-up Homer and Tiger Mos. It's Wild Kingdom time! Go Rebels play it like you need it.
  3. Yea, I'm with you OLE RATTLER. This to me is the strongest team I've seen in years. If the Rebels play emotional ball with Twin Valley then I see no problem. Once these young men get pumped up with the fans then there's no stopping them......man you oughta see that crowd.. they are loud and and man do the boys start moving both sides of the ball. To be such a small community they have alot of heart. I wish the Rebels the best and I'll be there the next three years following you guys all the way to the State finals.
  4. Hey Cornho, why settle for the cheap stuff go all the way with the Rebel Spirits. I'll be there to help spread the Rebel Spirits when they the Rebels win this one..........Do what you gotta do Rebels....word is The Rebels are psyched and the Blankenship guy is on fire....The Headhunters are looking for paw prints .....Stacy, Hurley, Layne, Jackson, and the big diesal Sullivan are going panther hunting this Thursday what a treat for the Panthers....trick or treat....shhh be verry verry quiet we are looking for panthers.....Hunt them down "Headhunters"....GO REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Well guys, I can't agree with you on this one , yea Twin Valley will come out fired up with confidence but Hurley is ready and knows that it goes back to the golden days of Green Dragons . They are not about to let their winning record have anymore losses listed. They have played hard and are a tight knit bunch of kids. This team is a stronger team than given credit for. They have proved, even though they have hit some tough hurdles that they mean to win hurt or not. If they can get their gear on and hit the field and be effective enough then they'll play with HEART. In my opinion, that is basically what they have played with all season. All in all, sorry guys I'm gonna have to say Hurley on this one but maybe next year may be a tighter game who knows. My prediction is Hurley 32-14.
  6. Hey guys, I've heard some positive things on you panthers I wish you the best this week. Come next week, we'll be for the Rebels......go get 'em Panthers lay it on Ervington!!!!!! Go Hurley Rebels!!!!!!
  7. Anyone have any comments on this game? Does Hurley want to end the 2008 season with two more wins? It's up to the whole team , not just one or two players, its up to all the team. So when you go into this game, you go in and play for what you want and how you want it to end. If you want to place in the BDD then you know without a doubt you are going to have to give it 110% half way won't do. Play as the football team I saw at Castlewood and it will work your way. If the Rebels can be as mentally strong and consistent with their playing style as they were at Castlewood then you'll give Honaker a hard time. What's your opinion O' Romeo?
  8. Here's what I saw, the boys, bad as I hate to say it, went in this game intimidated by Haysi. When Haysi scored the first touchdown, the Rebels gave up. They kept going down as the touchdowns kept coming. They have, in the past played right up till the end never giving up. This game they walked on the field as though they were already beaten except for a couple of players. But a couple don't cut it. A team means all on the field play till you are exhausted and the winner of that game. I don't know if the Hurley players were injured and couldn't play up to par, which would be understandable considering they have a small team. But that's were the ones on the side line need to be worked with in case something like this happens get those guys ready.I also feel that Mr. Colley has overdone himself with his SCORE staying at the 50 and better mark. I think he has done this to the Rebels for the last five or six years of playing with the Rebels. Boasting about running up the score on the Rebels and coming from such a good coach is beyond me........Well anyway, Rebels you have two games left and I would like to see you, after all this hard work, to at least place in the BDD in some way. You have had a good season so far we've run into some snags along the way but heck, look what the next two to three years is gonna be like....it's gonna be a rush for the next to years anyway. It already feels good to say the Rebels have won five and lost just three games compared to the last couple of years seasons. So Mr. Colley, its gonna be a rush and a pleasure to play you next year at the CLIFF. Let's go Rebels and do some soul searching this week, collect your thoughts on how you want this season of 2008 to end. Search and dig just a little deeper into your soul as a Rebel would do, and rise to the occasion. You can finish this season as the Rebels that wouldn't settle for being called the underdogs. You have already made the community proud. There has been talk and support from many people that surprised me. So how much do those Hurley Rebels want that win? You think on it .....never never give up to anyone, no matter the size the record or the gossip. You and only you know what you are capable of.....go Rebels beat those Hoanaker Tigers!!!!!!!
  9. I say those Rebels have a 400 Big Cam diesal engine with some hard knocking cylinders lined up. I'd say Hurley will be changing gears and blowing some black smoke. Just don't you kitty cats cross the road come Friday night or you'll be road kill. HeeeeHeeeeHeeeeeHaaaaHaaaaaaHaaaaaaHere kitty, kitty.....grab another gear Rebels and east bound and down , make those cylinders hummmm............wonder what hi octane would do Dookie?
  10. Sounds like to me, some boasting is going on with those Haysi Tigers. Don't be to quick to say its a sealed deal . I've been noticing some full moons this week which means changes are on the horizon.
  11. all i know is watch those Rebels hunt those tigers down in the early part of the game. rebels come out strong and play like you did at castlewood and you will get them.
  12. I like that one, it sometimes makes you wonder doesn't it? Sometimes you find these "rare ones" (coaches) that are as crazy as the players and the funny thing is they end up having a winning season.......
  13. what does it take to make a good coach? to me a good coach , whether it be basketball, baseball, volleyball or football, just for the few weeks of that sport that they are totally dedicated to the kids and their determination to win. this includes bringing recognition to each kid that puts that extra effort out for the team and to be open to their suggestions whether it be weird or not. i could probably go on and on but sometimes if you have your own kids involved it crosses your mind, hey this dude really likes this, he or she has these kids rockin and rolling something they can have fun at and still represent their school. i guess , if you can get that one quiet kid that was always quiet to show his hidden talent then your a good coach no matter how you get it out of him. when you coach i assume your ready to stay that extra hour to help these kids and that extra time to just have fun with these kids. make them look forward to the next year. hey its just for a couple of weeks why not have fun. anyone want to add to this is more than welcomed .......just something to ponder on.......
  14. It's been a long time coming but I think you might have something, doc. Keep up the good work and good luck with your next game.
  15. how long of a drive do the hurley rebels have in front of them? who do you think will win , the hurley rebels or the ervington rebels? i strongly feel that the hurley rebels are building numbers and are eager to win i don't believe they are going to be pushovers.....:
