wow so they get an automatic bid anyways???? actually if your gonna base "the district champion" by the reg season, just go ahead and take 2 and 3 of the reg season and do away with the district playoffs since you all ABSOLUTELY HATE the idea of the playoffs meaning everything including the number 1 seed for the certain districts in there regions. (sarcasim btw) in all reality yes its harder to win a reg season title definitly not gonna deny that. another example where the playoffs means more. Look at the NFL, just because a team has the best reg. season record doesn't mean they win the superbowl. Remember the year the pats went 18-1? did they win the superbowl that year? I believe not. If all sports just went by reg season records and stats you would not see teams like butler playing for a national championship in college basketball as a 5 seed. you wouldn't see goerge mason getting deep in the NCAA tourney as an 11 seed. Yet another example, College football, look how much controversy there is with the BSC because its ALL based on reg season and no playoffs what so ever. my point is "playoffs" meaning mostly everything is what makes sports exciting, surprising and enjoyed by millions of people and the playoffs is where the the teams ought to step up and play. the real "champion" team is gonna win when the pressure is on anyways getting back on topic. In my opinion the reg season should just be seeding for the district playoffs, because its like i said before, you work your "butt" off in the reg season to prepare for the playoffs and who says the team that gets hot at the end can't be the district champs??? PERIOD!!

look Im tired of arguing your not changing my opinon and im obviously not gonna change yours. I value the playoff number one more than the regular season number one. I value the team whos gonna win in the cluch more than a regular season game. I understand what your trying to say and its a good agruement but its just a matter of opinions.

Im not sayin the regular season is pointless, Im not saying that at all, but the playoffs is what you play for during your season. Example in college basketball, march maddness is what all the teams play the reg season for. In college basketball, if they went by reg season stats and standings then we would have four number 1 seeds in the final four EVERY YEAR. I like the idea that any team can win during any day. and I think that marion should be the number 1 because they are the district champs. if every sport just went by reg season stats then there would be no surprises and surprises make sports that much more exciting. IF YOUR THE BEST, PROVE WHEN IT MATTERS!!!! and marion proved it WHEN IT MATTERED!! the best team is the team who can win when they have everything on the line.

so the number one in the regular season no matter where the finish in the tourney they get the one seed anyway????? plz clarify and i really hope it doesnt work like that because thats pretty dumb haha just sayin

well it just makes the tourney seem that much more meaningless. yes it rewards them for the whole season but i like the idea of the tourney meaning everything because its what every team works for in their season. question say a team wins the reg season in there district and then lays an egg in the district playoffs they still move on???? just a little confused

yea i agree that the abdington keeper is pretty good but you have to keep in considerartion that he is challenged the LEAST by far in the district. and two sick saves, pretty sure most of the districts goalies has had a hand full of sick saves. just saying

you guys switched keepers for some odd reason but that was pretty much all you switch really. U might have put in another player or two but the backup keep was the only thing that changed the game. we scored exactly 46 seconds in to the second half. Why did you all not pull him when we started scoring? I mean at one point it was 5-3 and almost 5-4 if we would of hit an open goal with around 6 to 8 min left and then we would of been in range of tieing it with all the momentum on our side. Im not trying to be mean just curious.

yea totally forgot to mention that my bad we was missing one of our main goal scorers he was sick, so he didnt get to make the trip up to caroll and Rooster didn't get to play in goal on a count of a rib injury.
