This is very true. And Abingdon played like garbage on Saturday as well. Both losses at VHS, Abingdon played some of the worst baseball ive ever seen and both were one run losses. Certainly not making excuses for terrible performances, just saying that the fact that a team can play THAT bad and still keep it that close and win games shows promise for the season to come..

Gotcha, he kicked some last year as a true freshman and didn't do very well at all, but he was young and maybe after his year of sitting out he can get it together for the Mountaineers. Hope he does well there or wherever he ends up.

You're right actually. My mistake. He just got his release from Saban last week and I wasn't aware yet. He' looking for schools closer to home, but idk if he's ever flat out said WVU or not.

Tazewell's field is really nice thanks to Billy Wagner. Abingdon's field is really nice thanks to the coach and players working on it all the time. Other than that, all the fields are pretty terrible.. I can only think of 3 with lights..
