  1. I realized that just as soon as I re-read my post. I edited it as quickly as possible to prevent people from making fun of my idiocy...but, alas, you caught me...lol. I have to win both of our "off" games to win. Being a Cowboys fan, I don't think I've ever pulled for the Eagles...but I will tomorow I guess. I actually picked San Fran thinking gwave would pick the Jets...just trying to create an opening. But, he picked them too...lol. Turns out I have my opening anyway...but I don't think I have a chance. It was fun though! I think I've bugged poor Ryan to death about posting the picks because I oftentimes have to go out of town and I'm afraid I'll miss submitting them being wrapped up in work. Thanks for your patience Ryan!
  2. I went Pitt, Philly, Indy, San Fran, Green Bay, Dallas....so we have 2 different picks....philly/wash and Green Bay/Seattle. I have to win both games that we picked differently to have a chance.
  3. So I'm 4-2 so far in the finals....picked final score total of Richlands game at 52. I missed Blacksburg (congrats to them, though!) and Dinwiddie. Gwave, if you're out there....let me know how you're doing!
  4. Figures...I picked Dinwiddie and Westfield....one goes to OT at last second, and the other botches it a lead. Ugh
  5. But we might also see some long TD passes....Mr. Negative Norm.....
  6. First, you gotta know Im a Sturgill fan....the kid commands (or commanded) the offense like nobody else in the area..IMO. The RPO they ran was top notch and he ran it well. Having said that, what impresses me about JLA is the fact the defense knows he's going to throw it every play...that's not even a question. Yet he still completes a ton of passes. He also has the benefit of really good WRs and that most definitely makes a QB look better. But I can't help but think that if they (Richlands) had any kind of run game then he would be even better. I'm not blaming the coaching staff, if you don't have a kid that can run then you go with what you have. And they've done that very well this year.
  7. Okay, so gwave is up 3? Yikes, got my work cut out for me!
  8. Looks like we are going to end up even after round 1, if I'm not mistaken. Neck and neck until the final week. Awesome!
  9. Serious question....on paper, does Richlands have a chance against Appo?
  10. What play did they run for the 2pt conv?
  11. Okay, it's far from over! Come on Richlands!
  12. A little off topic, but Skyler Simcox (AHS 2015) plays for Western Kentucky and they are playing in the C-USA championship right now on ESPN. Hes done very well for them this year. Hasn't missed a PAT (somethjng like 60 straight) and has kicked 2 FGs over 50 yds this year. Just a little shout out to him.
  13. Is Galax actually fielding a full team? Come on Galax!!
  14. Only 4 different picks. I took Richlands, he took SD. I took Wyoming and he took San Diego St. I took Penn St and he took Wisconsin. I took Galax and he took Riverheads. Good luck Gwave! And good luck to all local teams!
  15. As in Chris Thompson that plays for the Redskins?
  16. Thanks falconfan1.....love that you're a Vols fan!! See you in a week gwave!!
  17. Thanks Ryan. So if we both miss one game, the one that picked the GOW winner will win? Which basically means I have won this round?
  18. Looks like me and falconfan1 are down to Houston vs San Diego. I'm 1 up right now because I picked Richlands over Graham, but he was closer to the score. So, unless I'm mistaken, if Houston wins (his pick) then we are tied and he wins by default because he picked the GOW closer, even though he missed the actual game. Right?
  19. Good. I figured Mance wouldn't let that happen again. This will be a tough game to call....I really want to pick Richlands, for a plethora of reasons....playing AT Graham worries me a little bit. Does Graham have turf or grass?
