One solution to the problem is if the VHSL would allow for schools to go Independent like in college football. This would work well for schools in Buchanan, Dickinson, and Bland Counties as well as single A schools on the Eastern Shore

Quick correction: 1927, not 1929

At Virginia High's basketball court there are painted on banners celebrating the various state championships won over the years. As you would expect, there are plenty in the baseball dept. But one caught my eye. There is a banner for football state championships in 1929 and 1933. At the time that these were won, Beattie Feathers attended VHS and was a star running back. My question is, how can they claim a state championship from before the VHSL started awarding them?

VA High got screwed with this. Dropped Sullivan Central, Honaker, and Graham for Union, Radford and Tazewell (the exception)

Last year, VHS was down 45-34 with 6min left and wound up coming back to win 46-45. After coming off the seemingly perennial loss to rival THS, can the Bearcats regroup and beat Graham?
