Just a passing game period would help. VHS played very well and deserved to win, no doubt. Most of (if not all) AHS points came after turnovers deep in VHS territory. The score could have easily been 20-7.

We sure need to find a passing game but I'm not taking anything away from Va High, they're good.

Time management on the last series made me think that John Bowles was coaching again!

  2. I heard today from reliable sources that at least 3 Richlands football coaches have resigned. Anyone else heard this? Not sure if this is exact but I think the last 10 years these guys record is 115-24. This will be a huge loss for the Blues. Why is everyone trying to run these guys off? I think we have seen the end of a dynasty:eek:

We'll take any of them in A-town!

  3. Yeah, just horrible. I think they have been doing it all year but this is the first game I haven't been to so I'm not sure.

I've missed a couple games this year. I used to really enjoy the radio, but now they sugarcoat everything. They would lead you to believe we're playing well while losing 45 to 0.

  4. Our radio announcer says "and the Knights (CS) are held scoreless in the third qtr"....wow, we are giddy about holding a team scoreless for a qtr. Thats how bad things are at AHS. Anybody know how to get a coach and staff replaced? Seriously.

These announcers are awful, where are Bobby Ketron and Skip Bailey?

  5. I'm thinking this will be one of the best first round games in D-2 west if not the best. I've not seen VHS since game one but my gut is telling me they get revenge on JSB for the last two regular season losses. I'm picking the Bearcats 19-16.

However i think the winner of this one gets knocked out by Giles next week.

I'm rootin' for Battle but i'm afraid the Cats will get their revenge.

  6. Please, drop the patronizing tone and explain to little ol' me why you disagree. I promise I'm listening. I always listen, unlike many, many others here.

And many of those differences can be traced back to one day: 9/11/2001. In response to 9/11, we became involved in a couple wars that cost a lot of money.

And so Republicans will have to soften their stance on immigration, what to do if "illegal" children are born here, etc. It goes far beyond the Hispanic community, too. In this election, there were gender gaps, racial gaps, income gaps, etc. Pretty much the only people who voted for the GOP were upper-middle class white males and coal country.

To say that some of our elected officials don't have the best interests of the country in mind is disappointing. I knew I would face opposition when I said that, and I hope you see soon that no one is out to get you. In fact, Obama and others in his party want the best for you, as much as they want the best for everyone else.

This is the quote that I was referring to, I don't post enough to know how it all works.

  7. In response to the middle of your reply, what was our other option? Yes going to war is expensive, but do we sit back and watch these terrorists do the same thing to Chicago, LA and Atlanta? We can't remain a world power by allowing a small part of the world to kill thousands of our citizens, republican or democrat we're still Americans.

  8. Am I the only one that thinks the original poster is not real, that he's a troll? At least I sincerely hope that is the case. So...is everyone getting baited by a troll, or is there REALLY someone as ridiculous as the O.P. I vote for the former.

Most boards go by a "do not feed the troll" mentality.

There's no way that dude is from Abingdon!
