Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 It was my understanding that the coaches were very impressed with Powell's speed and quickness last season. However, the depth and experience in the backfield kept the sophomore off the field. He broke a couple of long runs on opponent's first-team defenses last year in "mop-up" duty. I've been told that Maurice Jordan will also be playing football next fall and I'd imagine with his speed will play in the backfield.
