JDove 10 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 What do you all think about how the VHSL change the rule so the official time is kept on the scoreboard insted of on the field? I know this is how it is in college but it's not how it is in pro... What do you all think about it?
BarraBrava99 12 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 IT'S NOT SOCCER!!! i hate it, it's stupid, and it takes away from the game! the bottom line is that isn't soccer!!!!! i hate it in college, i hated it in the early Major League Soccer days (thank GOD they fixed it to the way it's suppose to be!), and i ESPECIALLY hate it at the highschool level! carrollfan 15 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 As far as I know that is not a new rule. That just sounds like something graham wanted to do.
bluekick 11 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 Do/did high school games ever have stoppage time?
BarraBrava99 12 Report Share Posted March 26, 2005 yes. graham is the only highschool i've ever been to that kept time on the scoreboard for a soccer match. everyone else has stoppage time.
JDove 10 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2005 Really? I was sure the VHSL made a new rule that makes it that way... I really hope it is just a Graham thing becuase I think it's stupid... There was a few times the clock didn't stop when the ref said and Abington were gettin pretty upset because they were down.
