Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted April 16, 2005 I saw on WDBJ-7 last night that Lynchburg College defeated St. Paul's 39-0 in a five-inning baseball game last evening. L'burg scored 21 runs in the second inning alone...

beaverbaseball 10 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 [ QUOTE ] whatever happened to a 10-run inning or throwing in the towel. [/ QUOTE ] 10 run inning is in city league. They cannot call the game unless you are up 15 after 4, or up 10 after

beaverbaseball 10 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 Thats the rule in West Virginia. I don't think they have the 15 run rule in 4 innings in Virginia Its just a 10 run rule in
GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 Well guys, I think you all are missing ONE KEY THING...this was a COLLEGE GAME. They don't have a ten run rule in college...just like MLB, score as many as you can. Although, I do think they invoked the "mercy rule" in this one since it only went five innings, unless it was called due to rain or darkness.
