hhstigerfan 12 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2005 I think it would have depended on what point in the season they played. At the beginning of the season, VHS probably would have beaten Honaker, but near the end of the season, Honaker definitly started clicking together as a team. Just look at how close of a game we played against Tazewell with 9 starters suspended or the playoff game with Gate City. Honaker will more than likely have a couple more losses than its been used to having, but it will be worth it playing better teams. Â At least we'll have Abingdon as an automatic win lol. zach 10 Report Share Posted June 26, 2005 Hey, we may suprise you. They are suprising me, with the new coach and a couple of players who didn't play last year. All we need is our new QB to find his rhythm vs. John Battle and PH, and we could be in for a good decent season. Hows Honaker overall? I was there last Friday, and it seemed yall were coming along fine. The only thing I didn't like was the coaches basically said nothing to the players when the went to he field and threw. Bostic was good but Newberry was a little erratic, couldn't find his placing. My cousin RJ and Bostic raced on 40's and RJ beat Bostic.
