Football_is_life 10 Report Share Posted August 16, 2005 All kinds of rumors are circulating about liberty football...is reeves coming back??? and is newman as good as he was last year? shadyfan 10 Report Share Posted August 16, 2005 Reeves is not out this year said he wanted to worry about baseball, newman is still very good maybe a little bigger, the line is pretty much gone what line they do have is very young and no experience should be a intresting year for the raiders if they have to passing game everyone will just key on newman, hoped this helped. kevin 13 Report Share Posted August 16, 2005 The Newman kid is the real deal. But with Liberty losing pretty much the entire o-line, I'd say he's probably going to take a beating this year. He's not the fastest guy in the world but he runs with alot of power. One guy usually doesn't bring him down. Behind a good o-line he would be tough to handle. NoSurrender 10 Report Share Posted August 17, 2005 They lost 4 of the 5. The one they have returning is a legit AA lineman in Nick Blankenship. Also have their 6th lineman from last year with a lot of experience, but the rest is inexperienced. Newman, like the rest of the team will not quit.
