parsons 178 Report Share Posted October 1, 2005 bluefield paper had mcdaniels with 21 yards....bristol said 32.......not sure which is correct......but when you combine that stat with holding robert henry to 25 yards and garon marcum to 22 yards you gotta admit the richlands d has done an outstanding job against the best in the swd

outoftowner 10 Report Share Posted October 1, 2005 Richlands defense has been a great addition to the program this year, the special teams have made life a lot easier on McCracken and that offense too. They had I think 3 scoring drives of less than 10 yards in the Graham game. The D is holdin teams off, but if the Blues keep that special teams game and big play kick returning up like against Graham they will go a long ways, that could be the difference maker they need. bluenecknation 17 Report Share Posted October 2, 2005 off. & special teams sells tickets & win games but def. wins championship the blues have had several players step up this year. i feel the blues are in for a big playoff run.

Narz_Wave 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 Agree to an extent, but Special Teams can easily win a game or two. I.E. Frank Beamer's Hokies.

outoftowner 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 It did help a lot...and some key parts of that special teams seemed to be missin against Tazewell.
EH31 2,532 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 i loved that punt return jennings had in the first qt. he runs inbetween like 4 tazewell people then makes mcdaniel fall on his face lol
parsons 178 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 that move on mcdaniels was wicked.........left him grasping at dirt.....missed caleb by 3 feet
outoftowner 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 I wonder if Jennings will be returning kicks full time again??? He did a great job for the Blues last year but his spot on the offense was minimal...He is a lot more valuable this season as a runing back...especially when u have other kids who have already had big returns for the Blues..Bam-Bam and Addison did an excellent job in Calebs absense...It may be best for Tarte to leave Calem more for the offense but man he does have a spark about him. parsons 178 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 i think they will keep him back there......i think the whole purpose of pulling him off defense was to allow him to play both offense and special teams
EH31 2,532 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 all state kick returner.. id leave him in
outoftowner 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 If he stays back their though which of the other two do u put back their with him....Smith is a senior who starts on D and plays offense too.....Addison was player of the week against Graham and set up easy scores for that offense...and he wasnt back their with Caleb against Tazewell?? parsons 178 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 i guess you could put addison back there and rest smith....after all he plays some offense and full time defense.
outoftowner 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 Thats what i anticipated them doing but he wasnt in their Friday..Maybe Mance and Tarter have other plans??? Who knows with that coaching staff? I do know Mance was a little to predictable against the Dogs.
