Flea 27 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 Have the changed the playoff pairings b/c on the website they have 1@2 and 3@4 and then the finals @ the winner of 1-2 home. just wandering everyone was talking about Graham-Tazewell 2 and Richlands-VaHigh. GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 Probably just another "mis-print" by the VHSL...they really need an editor. In the Region playoffs, #4 plays at #1 and #3 plays at #2. Now what you could have been reading is the Semifinal pairings...this year in AA Division 4, Region IV will play at Region III. In AA Division 3, Region III will play at Region IV. VHSLhelper 571 Report Share Posted November 11, 2005 Their website is correct. You were looking at the pairings for Div. 3 in 2005, right? That page only lists the state semis & finals. This year, in Div. 3, the Region I champ plays at the Region II champ in the semis, and Reg. III plays at Reg. IV. Clue - Regions are Roman numerals, Divisions are regular numbers.
