norseman 10 Report Share Posted April 5, 2006 How in the world did Uva and VT (And also Tennesse) miss out on Kristi Toliver from Maryland. Shes an awesome basketball player whose talent level is far above your normal freshman. Her play in the NCAA tournament was probably the was the main reason UM won the title. This underscores the importance of keeping in-state talent here, no matter the sport. Also, Pat Summitt keeps a close eye on Virginia to maintain her talent pool (shes already signed Nicci Moats from Lord Botetourt for next year). How did everyone local miss out on Toliver?
