MavsRock 21 Report Share Posted September 9, 2006 I wasn't able to make it to this one, but I did catch most of the second half on the radio. Pretty much all you heard was James Monroe's defense in the backfield consistently. Appearently we had some problems in the first half, but the defense ( along with a nice pursuit by Ernie Tincher after a lost fumble) kept us out of trouble. Good result for a game where some mistakes had to be overcome. Hopefully a good learning experience. 3 down 11 to go. The D looked good tonight and Jackson almost had 200 yards It was a good game for him. Oak Hill is going to have a good year they have some good talent on the team.
