James Monroe has a good line and the passing game is getting better each week I just don't have a clue what to expect on this one. I just posted some pictures from the Wier Game on the web Site. (what a muddy mess) They can be viewed at http://mysite.verizon.net/vze84s9d/ The game this past week was the called game I have ever attended, Anyone on the James Monroe side of the field saw a crew trying to rob this victory for most of the second half and the Wier players are not good loosers a lot of cheep shots, late hits. I have traveled 884 miles so far going to playoff games and am looking at another 518 this Sat. I think James Monroe has a tough game ahead of them this Sat. with Magnolia. What are your thoughts??

What stands out from the James Monroe trip to Wayne last year during the playoffs was the number of Tolsia fans on the JM side of the field. The new lights were needed bad this field was dark in a lot of spots. I have seen Bluefield and Wayne play this year and I think Bluefield is by far the better team. Good luck Beavers.

Are many of you going to make the trip? I am going up on Friday morning, spend the day at Cabela’s and travel to Weirton on Saturday morning.

Chapmanville was out of this game before the end of first half and James Monroe played the best game of this season. Mavs are showing improvement on both sides of the ball. The line has finally started making some holes and Roberson looked his best thus far for the year. James Monroe has a long trip to Weir. To anyone with the info, Other than being 280 miles from Monroe County. What is the field like at Weir?

I just received word that the game will be at Fayetteville High School tonight due to some problems with the lights at Oak Hill.

It is time for the Plow Boys of Monroe County to park the tractor, empty the hay wagon, clean the barn, feed the chickens and hit the football field for the start of this season. James Monroe will bring to the field this week with a new (well new to the kids) coach and a young and inexperienced line. Wayne has one game behind it and a win. Any thoughts?

I just received this: NEWS FLASH 2009! Princeton replaces Wayne on the James Monroe schedule.

Did Whit stay on as AD? So this week James Monroe has lost head Coaches in BB and FB???

I would love to see James Monroe and Graham play and I am not sure why the calls are not being returned.

The AD has 9 games on the schedule, Poca, Point Pleasant, Greenbrier West and others have been contacted but do not want a game with James Monroe. The games with Pike View and Narrows do nothing for James Monroe but give them enough games to qualify for the playoffs It looks like the "Children of the Poor" conference is starting to take shape and will include power houses such as Summers, Shady, Independence, Liberty Ral, Greenbrier West and Sherman. This will almost guarantee someone to make the playoffs to be first round fodder for some good team.
