country70 10 Report Share Posted October 24, 2006 First of all, I said nothing about your pride, but since you brought it up lets talk about it. Quitters have no pride. It is one thing to give up a sport before practice or season starts because you are burned out or whatever, but it is totally different to come out and quit once a season has started because you did not feel you were getting a fair chance at a position you can't play. If you had any pride, you would have not quit football before the last scrimmage and then went and joined another team. And I doubt that anyone told you to quit pushing yourself so hard unless it was another kid that also quit. No coach would tell a kid that. Also, if you are such a hard worker, you would not quit.
