Martinsville’s boys soccer team earned its second win of the season with a 3-0 shutout against Halifax County on Monday.

 

 

Josh Torrez got things started when he found Garrett Vaughan in the sixth minute for the game’s first goal.

 

Quamaine Giles added to the lead with an unassisted goal in the 45th minute, and Andrew Dionne capped the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 55th minute for the Bulldogs (2-0).

 

Will Reynolds stopped three shots on goal, including one penalty kick.

 

Martinsville travels to G.W. Danville on Thursday.
