mhsalum 31 Report Share Posted April 4, 2007 Three players scored as the Magna Vista boys soccer team earned a 3-2 win against William Fleming on Monday. Mario Hernandez had an unassisted goal for the Warriors. David Szynal scored on an Adam Pace assist, and Szynal fed Zach Clifton for the final score. Zach Smith had 12 saves in goal for the Warriors (2-2, 0-1 PD). Martinsville 4 Halifax County 0 Garrett Vaughan scored two goals to lead Martinsville past Halifax County. The Bulldogs led 1-0 at half time, but turned on the offense late. Joshua Torrez and Justin Bell each scored for the Bulldogs. Justin Wooldridge had two assists, and Will Reynolds stopped four shots on goal. Martinsville (4-1, 1-0 PD) plays again Thursday at Franklin County. mhsalum 31 Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2007 martinsville moves to 5-1...from the roanoke times Martinsville 3, Franklin County 0 ROCKY MOUNT -- Joshua Torrez converted a penalty kick in the first half and Cody Draper had two second-half goals for Martinsville (5-1).
