What are the predictions for the MED next year? The district is pretty close all except for grayson co. who obviously has an advantage. other than that its pretty even through out.

Pochontas's defense is gonna be the best ever to come threw the school. They have their top 2 tacklers back..(Matt Kennedy and John Corner).their lockdown corner Brandon Pauley.and their Linebacking crew is gonna be great with Zach Pauley head hunting at safety...and their D-Line is gonna be speedy.

Bland County will be ready, even though i grad. last year...i am more than positive there defense is gonna be uncontrolable this year, they are returning all the d-line and the linebacking crew has grown in every way possible...and the secondary is pass ready

let's be realistic, guys. there's no way this year's defense will even come close to being the best to ever come through phs. let's take, for example, the '90 "hammer time" defense, or perhaps the '98 med co-champs defense. better than last year, maybe. but, let's not overstate matters.

and, for the record, i love you guys, but you're not finishing anywhere but the absolute bottom of the med. your line's just not big enough or strong enough, and with enrollment being miniscule, you just don't have enough athletes to contend.

oh, and you only have 4 home games. glad your spirits are high, though.

last year we were really close to winning 2 district games. we have the potential this year to be near the top of the med, not saying that's gonna happen, but it could. our line is just as big as last year, but the difference is this is the first year we've had a lifting program, and it's helped a whole lot.

oh well, im excited about this year, too bad im watching from the stands now...but anyway...regardless of how much of a pissing contest yall are trying to start on here, the MED is more balanced than it has been in a while, and its gonna be great football to watch

Pocahontas won't finish higher than the bottom two. They had a cake schedule before conference last year.,

[/ QUOTE ]Bland played the same out of conference schedule as Pocahontas did, with the exception of Bland playing East Montgomery and Auburn, and Pocahontas playing Roanoke Catholic and Montcalm. Auburn was 1-9 on the season, and East Montgomery was 4-6, while Roanoke Catholic was 9-1 on the season, and Montcalm was 4-6 also. Cake?
