MavsRock 21 Report Share Posted September 22, 2007 Mavericks win a shootout tonight in a costly game for both teams. LB/BB Zach Mann went out in the second quarter with a knee injury, he was walking around later, hopefully it ain't too serious. For Scott, Jordan Roberts went out in the 3rd, unsure how bad off he was, there were other injuries too, but those were the big ones. The Maverick defense showed alot of room for improvement, and need to get better fast. Jordan Roberts is as good as advertised, he just didn't have a very good supporting cast, and their team had absolutly no speed outside of him, especially on defense. Scott had no answer for James Monroe's offense, the Mavs scored on the first play from scrimmage 3 different times. Ugly win, but we'll take it. God-willing we'll get some guys healthy this week and be ready for Wyoming East who will definetly be a big challenge with their air attack.
