VivaFutbol 10 Report Share Posted October 20, 2007 GW survived a late Indian comeback to win the Homecoming game. The Maroons were up 21-0 at the start of the 4th quarter. The Indians rallied to 21-13 with about 5 minutes left. An unsuccessful onside kick gave the Maroons good field position. On 4th and 7 with about a minute to play, Jacob Sharitz launched a deep pass to Brandon Davis(Homecoming King) who made a Sportscenter Top 10 worthy diving catch. The Indians did not give up, they drove down the field and their 4th down and long was not converted from about 25 yards out. The Maroons will go on to face Northwood in Wytheville next week.
