Championships aren't won without great senior leadership and this senior class provided that great leadership. Senior leaders are what makes a talented team a championship team and that was definitely the case in '07 for the Beavers. Congratulations to those young men. The hard work and effort they put into the program paid huge dividends as they become the first class since the 1960s to leave Bluefield with two state championship rings. I hope the leadership they displayed will set an example for the upcoming classes at Bluefield. I'm sure the '07 class learned a lot from the '04 senior class b/c they also displayed great senior leadership in their state title season. Again though, congrats to the senior class and thank you for your blood, sweat, and tears to bring home another state title. You'll be missed and will always have a place in Bluefield football history.
