CC at Abingdon

Carroll has impressed me so far this year. They have a strong group of senior starters(4). They DOMINATED Floyd the other night. It was 28-0 in the first when the starters were pulled. The reserves got a LOAD of playing time (3/4 of the game) and this experience will only help Carroll down the stetch. It remains to be seen how they will match up to a team with a strong inside game.

So far, they have handled everything thrown at them from rough dirty play (Galax) to strong full court pressure (Patrick) and even a really sloppy slow paced game (Floyd). I think tonight will go a long way in telling what the future holds for Carroll.

FYI: both girs and boys JV have been postponed due to SOL testing. Tonight will be varsity only.

Abingdon boys won pretty easily. They are getting better each time out. Carroll doesn't have much. If CC is suppose to be good, the SWD will be weak. Abingdon has 10 kids with no varsity time. Abingdon's junior's carried them except for Thorn.
