George Wythe headlined the All-Hogoheegee District boys and girls soccer teams, released earlier this week. On the all-district boys team, GW sophomore Woody Wilder earned player of the year honors and was one of five Maroons on the first team. George Wythe’s season ended on Tuesday with a 5-3 loss to Bath County in the first round of the Region C tournament. On the girls side, George Wythe’s Kelby Dove earned player of the year honors. Meanwhile, George Wythe’s Scott Dove and Patrick Henry’s Zach Bowers shared coach of the year honors.
